What is Shilajit?

Shilajit is a sticky natural substance which looks like tar and contains:
— many minerals and trace elements your body needs
— fulvic acid which will make it easier for your body to absorb these minerals

Shilajit is a powerful substance which helps the body to reduce the effects of stress and maintain or restore its normal functioning.

How is Shilajit formed?

Plants and other organic material were caught by layers of rock in mountains like Himalayas or Altai millions of years ago. The compressed plant material was  transformed into a mineral substance by the pressure of the mountains and in response to other factors. It is now found on rock.

Why to take Shilajit?

Shilajit provides many of the vital minerals and trace elements the body needs to stay healthy. It is able to cure and prevent certain diseases.

How long to take Shilajit?

For maximum effect, take one to three portions of Shilajit per day over a six to eight week period.

How long does one container of Shilajit last?

Our 50 gram container can last from five to seven months depending on the dosage. The recommended dosage is a rice grain sized portion (about 100mg) up to three times a day. There are approximately 500 such portions in a 50 gram container.

Is Shilajit recommended for children?

Shilajit is a very powerful herb. Its use by children is not recommended.

When will the effect start to kick in?

Many people say their power and energy levels increase within ten to twelve days. For maximum benefits, take one to three portions of Shilajit per day over a period of six to eight weeks.

What should be done if Shilajit is hard?

Pure Shilajit is very hard when cool and soft when warm. If your Shilajit is hard, you should put the container in your pocket. Your body heat is going to soften it after about 30 minutes.

What is Shilajit purification process?

Shilajit is purified with traditional Tibetan methods:

– the rocks containing Shilajit are smashed and plunged into mountain spring water.

– shilajit dissolves in the water and the impurities are washed away.

– it is then put in the sun to make the water evaporate.

– to make Shilajit pure, this process is repeated a few times.

– finally, Shilajit is heated to kill any spores and bacteria and get rid of any remaining moisture.
